A jazz guitarist and music educator in Tampa Bay, Dominic Walker has worked as a host for WUSF’s All Night Jazz since 2015. After graduating with his Bachelor’s in music from Utah State University Dom moved to Tampa to study under the wonderful jazz instruction at the University of South Florida, later earning his Master’s in Music. Since then Dominic has opened the School of Rock Tampa franchise as Music Director, become a member of the board of directors of the Tampa Jazz Club, and maintained an active presence performing in Tampa Bay. He also plays regularly with well-known Bay Area musicians such as Nate Najar, John Lamb, Jackson Harpe, and Ona Kirei.
Dominic’s favorite beverage is the Kulmbacher Mönchshof Schwarzbier.
