Mike CornetteMike Cornette has been a jazz host on All Night Jazz since 2010 and Jazz Director since 2016. After an early stint in jazz radio, Mike went on to enjoy a wide-ranging and comprehensive career in the music industry. Now he’s come back home to his jazz roots blending his experiences with jazz artists and the music world to bring a unique perspective to WUSF.

Since his arrival Mike has instituted several new features on All Night Jazz including Jazz Trip@Ten, Focus Artist of the Week, and many others. You can join him Thursday through Saturday at 9:00 PM.

Jackson HarpeJackson Harpe was born and raised in Marietta, GA where he began playing the trumpet at age 11. He became fascinated with jazz in high school, and decided he wanted to pursue that in life. Upon completing his music degree at Kennesaw State University, he was accepted to the University of South Florida with a Jazz Studies assistant-ship.

About a year after completing his Master’s degree, he was hired as an WUSF All Night Jazz announcer, and continues working with the station in addition to playing gigs and working with high school band programs in the area.

Steve SplaneSteve Splane returned to the Tampa Bay area in 2017 after working for 30 years in New York City as a journalist. He worked in radio, TV and online news at CBS News, ABC News and others. He collected multiple awards along the way, including an Emmy and an Edward R. Murrow award.  A USF grad, Steve has found himself (most improbably) working for the second time as a jazz host at WUSF, 38 years after he left Tampa to pursue his journalism career. He lives in Pinellas County with his fiancé, and enjoys bike riding at the beach and photographing jazz concerts for WUSF.

Dominic WalkerDominic Walker has worked as a host for WUSF’s All Night Jazz since 2015. After graduating with his Bachelor’s in music from Utah State University Dom moved to Tampa to study under the wonderful jazz instruction at the University of South Florida, later earning his Master’s in Music. Since then Dominic has opened the School of Rock Tampa franchise as Music Director, become a member of the board of directors of the Tampa Jazz Club, and maintained an active presence performing in Tampa Bay. He also plays regularly with well-known Bay Area musicians such as Nate Najar, John Lamb, Jackson Harpe, and Ona Kirei.
